"Dear friends, family, faculty, and fellow graduates, as I quickly approach this momentous occasion, I find myself overwhelmed with a whirlwind of emotions. Graduation day is a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance, yet it also marks the end of an era filled with cherished memories and invaluable experiences.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my wife and children. Their unwavering support, understanding, and sacrifices have been the cornerstone of my journey through law school. Without their love and encouragement, this achievement would not have been possible. To my parents, whose sacrifices and guidance have shaped me into the person I am today, I am forever indebted.
As I reflect on the bittersweet nature of this moment, I cannot help but feel a pang of dismay at the thought of leaving behind the vibrant community and enriching experiences that have defined my time here. From late-night study sessions to engaging debates in the classroom, each moment has left an indelible mark on my journey.
Looking ahead, I am excited to announce my plans to remain in Knoxville after graduation. This vibrant city has always been my home, and I am eager to contribute to its legal community. While my passion for the law burns bright, I must admit that I am uncertain about the specific area of law I will pursue at this moment in time. Nevertheless, I am eager to embark on this new chapter and explore the countless opportunities that lie ahead.
To my fellow classmates, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for your future endeavors. As we venture into the professional world, may we carry with us the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the bonds of camaraderie that have united us throughout this journey. Though our paths may diverge, I hope to have the privilege of crossing paths with each of you in the years to come.
In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has played a role in shaping my journey through law school. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in me have been the driving force behind my success. As we celebrate this milestone together, let us embrace the opportunities that lie ahead and continue to strive for excellence in all that we do."

"I can’t believe we did it! The last three years at LMU have definitely been a challenge, but I am so thankful for my time here. The people, the experiences, and the memories have made the biggest impact on my life.

Thank you to my family for their unwavering support. You all have always believed in me and I will be forever grateful for the opportunities I was able to have because of you. Thank you to my peers for choosing me to be your SBA President! What an incredible honor it has been to serve such an outstanding group of people! Thank you to Allie Jo, Spencer, and Tommy for helping me keep my sanity and making life a little easier when I needed it most! This year would not have been the same without you all. Most importantly, thank you to Mikhail for being my biggest cheerleader and the most incredible support system. Thank you for going over hundreds of flashcards with me, always texting me good luck before exams, and reminding me that I was made for this!

I am so excited to be staying in Knoxville to begin my legal career!"

"To my husband, Logan: thank you for your endless support in every endeavor, but especially for picking up all my slack as I have directed my focus on earning this degree. To my son, Liam: you are at the heart of every accomplishment this family achieves; thank you for showing patience beyond your years while I have been distracted more than either of us would have liked during the past three years."

"It would take me a lifetime to give back the support I have received during law school. Not a single time that someone has checked on me, encouraged me, or given me an outlet to take a break has gone unnoticed. My friends, my family, and my coworker's encouragement throughout this journey has truly fed my drive for success.
Specifically, I want to thank my dad for giving me the support I needed to change my life and pursue this dream. I want to thank my mom for continuously encouraging me to keep going and believing I could make this happen.
Finally, the unspoken and unmatched quiet support I know I received when I wasn't even aware. Thank you.

"It took a village of family, friends, and professors to get me through law school. I'm especially thankful to my parents for their support, Costco runs, and exam-time goodie bags. Thank you to my brother, for pretending to be interested when I explain what I'm learning in school today.

Thanks to my first law school friend, Sydney Ribelin, for working up the courage to ask me to walk back to the parking garage with her. Life didn't allow us to graduate together, but I can't wait to see you walk across the stage next year!

Professor Smith, thank you for always giving us a 10-minute "wake-up period" during our 8:30 a.m. death penalty class. Professor Amarante, your insight and compassion inspired my love for immigration law. Lastly, a special thank you to Dean Reid for employing a TA who was so amazing I started dating him.

After 3 years, I'm leaving DSOL as my walking worst nightmare: an argumentative morning person."
