"It took a village of family, friends, and professors to get me through law school. I'm especially thankful to my parents for their support, Costco runs, and exam-time goodie bags. Thank you to my brother, for pretending to be interested when I explain what I'm learning in school today.

Thanks to my first law school friend, Sydney Ribelin, for working up the courage to ask me to walk back to the parking garage with her. Life didn't allow us to graduate together, but I can't wait to see you walk across the stage next year!

Professor Smith, thank you for always giving us a 10-minute "wake-up period" during our 8:30 a.m. death penalty class. Professor Amarante, your insight and compassion inspired my love for immigration law. Lastly, a special thank you to Dean Reid for employing a TA who was so amazing I started dating him.

After 3 years, I'm leaving DSOL as my walking worst nightmare: an argumentative morning person."
