"Mom & Seaton: You have supported me from the beginning and never let me give up on my dreams. Thanks to your support, there will now be an hourly fee to argue with me.

Mimi & Da: Without you, none of this would be possible and for that I am forever grateful.

Mel & Billy: I have grown academically and intellectually over the last 3 years, but even more so personally. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be a better person, and encouraging me to make a positive impact in the world.

Salter: Who would’ve thought I would fall in love with the curly-haired nerd? Apparently, everybody except us! I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to see where life takes us together.

And a special thanks to Professor Amarante and Professor Shields. You both helped make law school enjoyable.

Go Vols!"

"I want to extend my sincere gratitude to my family and friends for supporting me in this endeavor. Without your support, I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this achievement. I want to also give an extra special thank you to my parents for their consistent encouragement and for always being in my corner. Lastly, thank you to my law school best friends for letting me infiltrate the Kentucky coalition and adopting me as a forever member.

"I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and encouraged me throughout my time here at LMU. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to be an attorney and even told that to my first grade teacher. It must have been a sign because my initials spell "LAW." I would also like to say a special thanks to my Mom, Shirley Wade, for always believing in me, standing by my side and pushing me to be the best I can be. I know my Dad, Ronnie Wade, is looking down from above and I only wish he could be here to see me graduate as he helped mold me into the man I am today. I will be sticking around Knoxville, Tennessee after graduation as I will be staying on with OEB Law, where I have been employed for the last 6.5 years."

"I would like to thank Joe Sandford and Jonathon Harwell at the Knox County Public Defender's Community Law Office for their mentorship and guidance. I would also like to thank Akram Faizer and Greg Smith for their mentorship as well. I am hopeful to become an assistant public defender here in Tennessee after graduation."

"I would like to thank my parents Mike and Diana McClurg my brother Mitchell McClurg and sister Madison McClurg, but especially my grandparents, Mickey and Carolyn McClurg, who have passed away over the course of my law school career. They did everything to ensure my success in law school and in life in general and I am forever grateful and love them for all that they have done for me. I would also like to thank my girlfriend, Callie Lawhorn for supporting my decision to go to law school. Additionally, I would also like to thank the friends I made in law school, especially Greg Bohannon and Jeremy Turner, who pushed me over the last three years to be the best I could be. Also, I would like to thank the professors who took the time out of their busy schedules to invest in my education as well as create a permanent and lasting relationship with me, I truly appreciate everything you all have done. After law school, I will be looking for a job in the Knoxville area where I hope to work alongside my classmates and twin brother Mitchell who also attended law school with me."

"To my parents - words cannot adequately express my gratitude. Your love, encouragement, and support have paved the path for me to pursue my loftiest aspirations, and here we are! This achievement is as much a reflection of your guidance and sacrifices as it is of my own efforts. God blessed me with amazing parents, and I am grateful to be your daughter!

To my siblings - my love for you knows no bounds. Growing up, I wanted nothing more than to be a big sister and boy did I win the jackpot! You all are my biggest cheerleaders. My reason why. Thank you for loving me beyond measure.

To my friends – I am profoundly grateful for the privilege of your friendship. We’ve been to the highest of hills, and the lowest of valleys…but you’re still here! Thank you for every ounce of encouragement you all have poured into me during these last three years. I could NOT have done this without you all!

Last, but certainly not least, to my bonus Dad, watching over us from above – your belief in me ignited the spark that set me on this remarkable journey. Without you, I would never have embarked on this path. Though you are no longer with us in body, your spirit continues to inspire and guide me each day. Britt, this accomplishment is a testament to your enduring influence on my life, and this achievement is dedicated to you!"

"I would just really like to thank the Bandit and Snowman for being loaded up and truckin', doing what they said can't be done. The Bandit and Snowman had a long way to go, and a short time to get there; however, the Bandit kept his foot hard on the pedal and never minded them brakes. Bandit and Snowman let it all hang out because they had a run to make and eventually just put that hammer down and gave it hell.

Just like the Bandit and Snowman, the Class of 2024 is loaded up and truckin', doing what they said can't be done. My classmates and I had a long way to go, and only three short years to get there but, like the Bandit, we kept our feet hard on the pedals and never once minded them brakes. We're east bound and down, we've got a run to make, so just put that hammer down and give it hell, Class of 2024!"

"I would like to thank my family, my girlfriend and her family, and also my law school friends for their sacrifices so that I can be standing where I am today. I would especially like to thank my Grandmother, Carolyn McClurg, who recently passed away whom I have lived with through most of law school. Thank you for the love and care you provided me with. I will never forget the kindness and generosity my Mamaw had for my brother and me during this stressful time. I truly would not be here without you and I miss you every day. I love you so much Mamaw and I hope I can make you proud!"
