"As most of you know, since I was in the fourth grade I have aspired to become an attorney, and now I have finally made it. It's surreal. I am so thankful that I chose LMU DSOL to accomplish this goal. As my journey comes to an end here at LMU DSOL, I would like to shoutout a few people who have helped me along my journey. First, I want to shoutout Professor Beckman and Professor Adam Russell for providing me the trial advocacy skills I need to be a successful attorney. I also want to shoutout Dean McRee, Hesper Capps, and Professor Bianca White for being my go-to people and being my mini counselors. I want to thank all my peers for electing me and trusting me to be your Madame President, I hope I made you all proud! I want to give a huge shoutout to my friends and family (Mom and Dad) for your endless love and support. Lastly, I have to give a special shoutout to my best friend, Jordan Meddings. Without Jordan being with me through every single step in this journey, I am not sure I would have survived. Congratulations Class of 2023- 'we did it!!'" -Elle Woods
